We regard Bradford Bridge Club as one of the country's premier regional venues. We have our own premises, a Victorian listed building on the outskirts of Bradford city centre. This gives us a capacity of up to 40 tables in two large comfortable card rooms. There is a bar and separate refreshment room run by our full time steward. The Club has a membership of over 250.

The Club has operated a non-smoking policy throughout all areas within the building for number of years.

We offer a varied programme of pairs and teams bridge for all standards. Pairs drives are matchpointed scoring and a proportion are handicapped to give less experienced players a chance to put one over our 'experts'.

Visitors are most welcome in the club and if you are in the area and on your own we will be pleased to try to provide a partner for you if given sufficient notice.

The club enter six teams in the county leagues with our 'A' Team competing in division 1 of a twelve division competition, one of the most successful county leagues in the country. These matches are played on Sundays throughout the season.

We have a magnificent catering committee for our events and tickets for our Christmas party are a much sought after item.

Club members enjoy informal supper nights on several occasions during the year. These take place before our social Saturday evening bridge drives. Members volunteer to provide the meal or perhaps two members may provide a course each.

Some of our fitter members form a walking group which, led by different members, take to the streets, countryside and canals of Yorkshire on a regular basis.

We publish a periodic club newsletter called the Kibbitzer which is well received by our members. It carries club news, articles from members and anything generally entertaining.

The club also run classes from time to time for newcomers who would like to learn the game.

In these days of car crime and vandalism we can never be sure of the lurking threat so we employ a patrol guardian for the parking area and the street surrounds on any opening nights and feel that we provide a secure environment for all attendees.
